We had a good discussion about this a long time ago. The general consensus (me included) is that Blockbuster offers basically the same thing that Netflix does with the mailing the discs. They even have the in store drop off. However I along with many other posters have vowed to never give Blockbuster another dollar due to their years of treating their customers like shite when there was no legit competition around. This IMO is the biggest reason for their fall from grace.

The determining factors for me were this:

1) Netflix is far superior when comparing streaming content

2) Blockbuster used to ship out your next title in the mail as soon as you returned one to the store. They changed that and now you have to return your store rental that you swapped out for before they mail the next one. This irked me. I immediately switched to Netflix when they did this and haven't looked back
