A Beginner's gambling guide.. Help

This is probably going to sound dumb to some of y'all but I really know nothing about sports betting and I wanted to get into it a little. From the threads here y'all look like you've got it down. I thought the tournament might be a good time to get my feet wet.
Do you do this online? What's the best sites?
This might be a dumb question too but is online sports betting legal in Louisiana? I ask only because you can't claim fantasy sports winnings in LA.

I've been using 5dimes.com lately if I bet online. Haven't had any problems with it. The 1st payout was a process, but after that has been smooth.

I use sportsbook dot com and its been great. I know a lot of people use fivedimes (I think)
just watch yourself with it. Its much easier to lose than it is to win and its so tempting to throw more in after you lose it all

use bookmaker or 5dimes if you want to do it. you will set it up with western union and they pretty much have it down to a science

Just a warning, the sites that are still catering to the USA market I would be very leery of. IMO it is a matter of when not if they close shop and run with people's balances. All of the reputable sports books left a while ago.
