The second our long snapper screws up and it's a game changing play, Thunderbird would be here bitching about les not recruiting such a "useless" position

Where did I say anything about it being a useless position? Overreact much?

I simply said it's dumb to chase off an OL commit when you have a long snapper (Who likely would have paid his own way for 1 semester) too. Long snapping is obviously a very important part of the game and you look stupid when that guy screws up, but my point is pretty simple - who needs to be here earlier at LSU training? An offensive lineman, you know, the guys who need strength and conditioning probably more than anyone on the team...or a long snapper who can literally come right in and do 1 thing the same way every time and doesn't NEED to get bigger/stronger/faster...just needs to get timing down right and comfortable with punter/holder. You tell me, what's more difficult, and before you try and tell me the intricacies of this and that with long snapping, I was a long snapper back in high school ball. It's not hard to get timing down at all, just takes a short time.
