Is playing on TCM @ 3:00, Eastern Time.
I know that I will be watching college basketball, but for those who enjoy history, this is a great movie. I saw it in Manhattan when it came out in 1970. It tells the story of Pearl Harbor from both the American and Japanese points of view.
The movie is based on a book by Gordon W. Prange, “At Dawn We Slept”. He was a history professor at the University of Maryland who spent many years of his life in the study of the events of December 7, 1941. His son is a friend of mine, and an avid Terp fan.
Oh, and I will include the obligatory “Germans” in this post.
