kid played a hell of a game. Yes, the crowd was disappointing. Showed up to meet a friend outside in champions square. found him without calling. literally just looked for the other guy in LSU clothes

He's a kid, I agree he's very disappointed, but they have to win more games for people to spend money on traveling to a venue like that.

Fans gave up on the team halfway into this season. No surprise about the following yesterday against the #1 ranked team in the country that also beat us by 24 at home 2 weeks ago. The game was on a Friday afternoon and the team played like T total shite the last 3 games of the season.
Disappointing is the past 4 years performance of the Men's basketball program.

Most LSU fans just don't have the same love and passion for basketball as they do football and baseball. It sucks for the players but that's the way it is.

Well Anthony, so was the season and in particular the last 4 regular season games. Had the team won at least 2 of those the turnout would have been much better.

LSU Fans, however, are not fools. THE TEAM INCONSISTENCY HAS BEEN VERRRRRRY DISAPPOINTING!
So it is not a one way street here....easy to figure out. And Alleva can retain TJ, the fans will continue to stay away.
Didn't Hickey notice the "no shows," during the regular season? Then on the road at NOON ON A FRIDAY? We have had little to hope for, and it is because of the HC, coaching and failure to recruit.

LSU tanking the end of the season was very disappointing. The NIT blows. I will not watch a tournament of .500 teams. There is nothing else I need to say about that.

It irritates me when fans assume that supporting LSU necessarily requires the predicate of winning first. I'm not here to bitch at people for not going but Hickey is right. The team deserves more support for no other fact than the fact that they represent LSU. That should be enough. Sad it's not, as evidence from some of the dildo's on this board.

Let me just put it like this...I live in BR...i'm a huge Hornets fan. but i'm not traveling to NOLA to see that shitty arse team. i'm not going to leave work early, pay gas money to go to new orleans, pay for parking and concessions and tickets, all to see them lose.
same with this LSU team. i don't care how much they've improved over the past few seasons. the story is still the same. i'm sorry Hickey is butt hurt, but maybe they shouldn't be losing to fricking coastal carolina or whatever BS teams they lost to earlier in the season and then tank 3 of their last 4 or whatever. he has no right to call out LSU supporters.
