So just spray empty space now? Wouldnt rain wash away any poison, thus defeating that purpose?

I'm already seeing a few flying around. I dont get it, it's like something in my yard attracks them.

Any exposed steel? Wasps seem to love steel for some reason.

Yeah if it is in the wide open and will be hit with alot of rain then yes it will wash off. If it only gets damp when it rains like an over hang or something that is pretty much out of the direct rain then no. Most Wasps dont build nest in places where they will get drenched every time it rains. Also most of those sprays have an oily residue and not easily washed away.
