Question about Drew contract and possible loss of picks due to bounty.

Since it sounds like we might lose multiple draft picks due to bounties then why can't the Saints take that money that would go towards them and give to Bree's too? Wouldn't that be enough to close that gap since?

Rookie money isn't that much in the scheme of things, also since we don't have a first rounder it is even lower.
So yes you could move that money towards him but a few hundred thousand isn't going to solve the problem.

True.
Anyone know what the rookie pay scale looks like?
say for picks 15-32? I know it varies by position but is there a general break down of the salary of each pick as it goes down in the first round?
tried to google it but missed.

Brings up a good point. All teams have an alotted amount for the rookie pool. Even without a first for this and possibly the next year. You figure for a first you probaly would alot 3-5 million depending where you picking at. We have around what 4.5 million from last year that can be rolled over to this year. Do believe this is the last year you can borrow from the next years cap.
Makes me kind of wonder if the team is waiting to see what kind of penatilies that they are going to get hit with is the reasoning for the moves they have made with Drew and Nicks.
