If you have a Petroleum Engineering degree (I was a PE @LSU) I would do everything I could to work for an operator and not a service company. Even the smallest operator is better suited to a PE than a service company. What part of NOV is this interview with anyway? They have Reed Bits, Totco instrumentation, mud pumps, top drive... Brandt solids. Not knowing it's hard for me to really expand. Honestly- I would apply to the BSEE or BOEM- have a lower salary- than having to work for a service company. You could do the govt thing- get vested in the fed retirement plan- and then be a much more demanded employee after that. But seriously, 1) operator 2) BSEE/BOEM (3) service company.

have any leads for me?? My GPA is lower than what operators are wanting. I have two internships with an operator, they just haven't made an offer to me yet.
