Rod and Reel help

Need help with buying a new saltwater rod and reel. Want to us the rod for snapper and amberjack bottom fishing in 300 ft of water and less. Please help.

Shimano Tekota on a Shimano Trelva(sp?) This will do everything want for what you are asking and with in budget.

Probaly the MH. You look at the rod and the first thing comes to mind is its gonna break right in half. Don't let that fool you they are probaly one of the strongest and well made rods on the market. Great for jigging whether it be snapper or AJ's. Have caught 50 to 60 lb AJ on them. But if you choose you can get a stouter rod and use the same reel. Penn Slammer rods pretty good and inexpensive.
