Sorry I correct someone when they say how great Flynn was and how shitty JJ was. Sorry stats prove you wrong. It's not my fault. Nothing you say will change that JJ had a higher qb rating in 09 than Flynn in 07. Nothing. So call it booger flicking or shite. Just know it a frickin fact.

You have to live with your particular delusion, not I. This is one of those "some people have it worse than you" moments when my day suddenly brightened.

willing to wager on how many professionals: nfl scouts, GMs, and college coaches who would have preferred to have JJ in 09 versus MF in 07.

im gonna go out on a limb and say not a damn one.

Facts don't mean shite when it comes to who will play in the NFL and who will not.

Fact: JR was considered a number one draft pick.
Fact: JR was a huge failure in the NFL.

See what I mean. Takes more than just stats against inferior opponents to make it in the NFL.

I think JJ had a higher rating in 2011 than he did in 2009 - which tells you the rating system wasn't a very good indicator IMO

I had hopes that JJ was going to be a solid LSU QB after the 2009 season. On paper you did look back and say "you know maybe he was better than I thought". But two more years of struggling convinced me otherwise.

JJ still deserves credit for helping us win the Nov Alabama game. He deserves some criticism for throwing the coaching staff under the bus (when they always stood behind him) after the BCS NCG.

Good luck to him and JL. I hope we only hear good things about them from here on in.
