It really is awesome to see these boys play just like a 3/4 scale D1 team. This organization is awesome at showcasing our talents to universities all over the country in order to promote the players. Last year all graduating seniors played D1 ball while two went in first round of MLB draft. That fact, in my opinion, makes it a worthwhile time-consumer.

Hmmm, I grew up with and played high school ball with a 4th rd draft pick for the Atlanta Braves. I also played college baseball with a 2nd rd draft pick for the Cincinnati Reds. Seeing that we all had the same "showcasing and promoting of our talents", why were they drafted but I wasn't? Also, there was this kid that played high school a few miles away at a school that sucked at baseball. Once again, he got drafted from this terrible school that didn't know how to "promote its players", and I went to this school full of college and pro prospects but didn't get drafted.

I just can't figure it out.

Please tell me Chaz, was it the schools, or organizations, that got my buddies drafted? Or were they just great athletes and players that got drafted because of their abilities? Also, this organization that your kid plays for that just churns out the college/pro prospects, it sounds very successful, so congrats for that. But do you think that they are taking average players and making them pro caliber, or are they only taking the cream of the crop? Kids that are going to get drafted no matter what organization/high school they play for?
