I tried a bottle of the 2010 Columbia Crest Grand Estates Moscato a few weeks ago and it was actually pretty good. Fwiw, Wine Specatator rated the wine 89 points.
It's not a wine I would serve with a meal. It's too sweet for that, IMO. However, as an aperitif on a summer evening, or as a wine to serve with a cheese and fruit platter, I would not hesitate to serve the particular wine that I just mentioned. And at roughly $11 a bottle it's a good buy.
