He clearly explains that you are deathproof in his car....IF you're sitting in his seat. The Nova clearly wasn't deathproof, as it didn't survive the head on collision.
Oh, and why is he a free man, after he was clearly witnessed taking home the blonde, who obviously was never seen again.
Oh, and why make a big deal out of him not being a drinker in the first part, only to have him drink whiskey from a bottle in his glove box in the second part?
