I would assume that they wanted Brohm to be their backup and liked him then when they got to the 7th they didnt have any one that jumped out at them and maybe Flynn was alot higher on their boards and figured they couldnt pass him up
They were right in the fact of not passing up Flynn

my jaw just dropped... im so happy for him that he can be in the position to turn teams away for not offering him enough to be the face of the franchise.... thats awesome
