I had typed out a whole spill but bottom line is work your dog and he will settle down. If you dont have the time to work you dog you should have considered this before getting him. I also would suggest reading Ceasar Milan's book "Be The Pack Leader".

Not entirely true. Mine gets worked into the ground during huntin season but he'll still turn a matress into a terydactyl nest on the porch of the camp if you let him. Some dogs just like to tear shite up.
