Best Italian Restaurant in Baton Rouge

Trying to find a nice Italian restaurant to bring the old lady out for a nice dinner, something real classy like. The more expensive the better so I can show off my OT baller status while taking down some veal.
Any suggestions other than El Cid?

If we only had a food board for these types of questions.

I'm sure that many posters will say Gino's, Little Village, and Ruffino's.
I think that Nino's is good, as well.
None of them really classify as excellent, IMO.
Monjuni's has a good basic sweet sauce. Nothing really special there, though. I could really just go there for the bread and sauce and be just fine.

All of these are fancy type places. I don't like Little Village, but that's personal. If I were you I'd shoot for Digiulio's. It's enough of a hole in the wall to where you look cool for knowing about it, and it's near bars in case it goes well... or very bad.

Gino's, Little Village, and Ruffino's are all pretty similar.
My certified panty-dropper is Maison Lacour... but that's French.

If I had to pick one, I'd probably say Gino's. It's my wife's favorite, and they have some good veal dishes.
