Whatever. It's a pretty good book, and had some unique elements, especially for a sci-fi. Lots of people who do not like sci-fi still enjoyed this book, and so it had some cross-over appeal.

No shite. I have some Dean Koontz on my shelf, pal. Just don't get the book's hype. Not like it's terrible, it's just not anything special.
