IDK how the wave action is down there, but if it gets rough you might want something with some weight to it. Dont the guides down there only run flats skiffs?

The boat above is a 24 Bay Scout w/ a 225 Yamaha 4 stroke w/ a jack plate.

We get in 12" water all the time. And its the smoothest bay boat to cutting waves that I've ever ridden in.

You are right, which is where I am torn...prolly don't want/need a pure flats skiff, but something like you mentioned and with some arse end to it.
