That was the word in an article posted on Tigerbait. He went on to say in the article that Texas was going to offer him next weekend. Also was going to junior day at OU and OSU.

I'm really starting to get pissed off at our recruiting recently.

Why in the world do you guys think he is going to accept a Longhorn offer (if it comes)??? He clearly stated that LSU is where he is hoping to play college football. It isn't NSD 2013 quite yet; there are still a few more days before he is forced to choose.

I'm wondering if LSU wants to get more people in camp evaluations this year outside the very few prospects they're absolutely sure about getting early offers.

Wonder why they didn't offer Wilson...he looks pretty damn good on film.

As hard as I have been on Miles, regarding his recruiting ability. . .

. . .one thing I will grant him, is his evaluation ability.

If he did not offer the kid, I'm assuming Ahmad Paige, until proven otherwise.

I just don't get it. We hire guys who are expert at evaluating football talent. We pay them millions o daollars per year. Their jobs depend on correct evaluation and recruiting talent that fits the team system and culture. And btw, the skill of these coaches at making these evaluations is documented by past successes.

Then, along come a bunch of douches who believe they know far better than the coaches at who should be offered and signed. Or the same douches, completely discount the coaches evaluations and put all their trust in a bunch of media types. These media types, btw, have absolutely no investment in getting it right. If their evaluations are wrong...well then it's a 'Oh well'.

And oh btw, as to losing the top 3 recruits this past year, one of thos e guys,LSU had absolutely no interest in. Can that really be considered losing out on him?

Curious... does he have a "high motor"? Or, is he "articulate"?

You guys seem to have nothing to worry about with Wilson based on the following...not looking good for my Longhorns.

Ishmael Wilson (Dallas/Bishop Dunne) wasn’t happy to leave Baton Rouge last weekend without an offer from LSU, but that slight hasn’t hurt the Tigers’ chances of landing one of the state’s top junior offensive linemen.

“My favorite school is LSU, hands down,” he said.

Wilson attended LSU’s junior day last weekend and was confident he’d get his offer. But coach Les Miles had yet to see any film of Wilson’s junior season, and he wouldn’t offer until he spent time breaking down the tape.
