They are unbearable. Particularly their Monday morning segment with coach Ditka in which they laugh uncontollably at his awful jokes and anecdotes. It seems like coach Ditka even thinks it is ridiculus.

I don't see how anyone with ears and a brain can prefer Golic to Greenberg. I think Greenberg would be really successful if he ever ventured out into something besides this goofy morning show schtick. Of course, he's extremely successful doing this show as well.

Greenberg does one thing well -- handling the logistics of a radio talk show and keeping it running smoothly.

But even on M&M he often comes acoross as that smarmy HS wimp you would have loved to punch in the face.

I never saw the short-lived game show he did so I cant comment on it. But he is a mediocre (to be charitable) Sportscenter anchorman. And having seen his NFL game gigs with Golic and Ditka, I can safely say MG was without question the worst PBP man I have ever seen on a network telecast. It was like some fan had won a contest to be an announcer for a nght.

But I have read several articles describing how Greenberg dreams/schemes to replace Berman as the face of ESPN and establish himself as a sort of Costas for the network. Cowherd apparently has simiar aspirations.

Golic likes to jump on the wagon of other NFL analysts opinion's usually. Every now and then he'll have a difference but its so common that Dude A will come on show, give an insightful opinion that Golic has failed to do for days and golic will be like "that's exactly right" and repeat.

Back before they were on ESPN 2, it really wasn't that bad a show; they actually had non-predictable opinions and didn't play the jock-and-nerd stereotype.
