butthurt or not butthurt, this is an intriguing story as to where the NCAA draws the lines as to what is a violation and what is not. That is what is most interesting to me at least.

This board has been responsible for the hiring of Smoke, Trent, Pokie, the loss to Bama, the behavior of the students section, crowds leaving early, the loss of McKnight, Gunner, Patrick Miller, and now Collins
And youre only gonna drive off more recruits by insinuating that their parents have an opinion of their own

You do realize that the NCAA has outlawed the practice with respect to basketball players, correct? Obviously, they give my argument more credence than you do. It wouldn't surprise me one iota if they extend the prohibition to football. The only "butthurt" I sense is coming from an oversensitive, defensive Alabama fan who is upset that the sordid - if not illegal - recruiting practices of his school are being widely reported.

Big difference there, his gf was already working in the athletic department. She wasn't promised a job before either hit campus like this supposedly is. Either way I don't give a damn. He doesn't want to be a Tiger and thats fine, not every La kid does. At this point I would be done with it if I were Les. If he changed his mind I wouldn't turn him down but I wouldn't pursue him anymore either. Because of the drama with his Mama/family/girlfriend he might just be more trouble than he is worth even with his talent level.
Some kids just aren't cut out to be Tigers, I would wish him good luck and move on.

I wouldn't believe Collin's mom if she said the sun rises in the east, sets in the west, or anything else. It was pretty obvious to me she's got an agenda the one time I heard her talk about it. I don't think LC even lives with her, does he?

Ummmmm.....the title of the post said his mom accused, not him. If it said HE accused, I'd have to go look for something to prove it unlike what his mom said. After all, I've already heard her speak on the matter
