I went yesterday to the BR location(fifth trip). Have been to ones in Atl, Nashville, Houston, BR,etc..the quality really can vary depending upon the location, the line cooks, and the amount of folks in-store at said time.
That said, I went to Matherne's on Highland last week, got a cheeseburger for the first time in about a year, have always been a fan. At $2.75 ala carte, and $4.25 with fries box, it is as good a burger and fries as Five Guys and Dearmans, at a much cheaper price.

Very good plate lunches.
Same can be said for Ralph's in Gonzales (smoked chicken / smoked pork chop).
