Agreed so hopefully a guy like Cam Johnson DE, Virginia can fall to us and we are able to get Lewis in the 3rd(stretch). Cam's name hasn't come up much but he's also grading out in our range for now.
Option 2 maybe is take David or Lewis in the 2nd and end up with a tweener like Jared Crick DE/DT in the 3rd.

Would love to get David in the third. Would be great value and we'd end up with a very good player, IMO. Don't know anything about Cam Johnson, but would love to get a good value DE in the second and David in the third. That would make me very happy Saturday night.

I've always liked Jared Crick. Only concern is I think he was better at DT in college but is probably a little too small for DT in the big leagues.

they are very strong BPA but need does have a part in the formula

Ellis & Jenkins fit both perfectly

I'm not on prognosticating draft choices by previous trends- say, not much on LBs. It's more back to BPA IMO. In the same regard I wouldn't rule out b2b LBs. The overriding factor has to be their value though. There's still a lot of shakeout to be had with the Combine & Pro Days to really hone the ranges in- especially as far back as #59.

As stands now seems there is some consensus among posters...

Curry- oh yeah but the probability of being around is remote enough to not get too excited at all

David- solid pick that could be around but not highly probable

Lewis- looks like one of the best value/need/availability matches at this point

Wagner- good looking player but may not present enough value to take at #59. Maybe tho

----------------

Post some Cam Johnson stuff, I'll look up some on him later
