Experience counts in the SEC. Mett will be good, but in the end experience makes a difference. The coaching staff didn't feel he was ready yet and used the two 5th year seniors who had the experience.

Most of the times, yes, but definitely not in this case, especially leaving JJ in their the whole time.

Experience is overrated if you're any good. Just look at McCarron. He isn't even that good, and he led Bama to a BCS title in his first year as a starter. McElroy did the same for them. Lee and JJ, on the other had, had more than double McCarron's experience and each looked like shite in one game against Bama this year.

McCarron had zero experience and did just fine. Mett couldn't have did any worse than less than 100 yards of offense in the national championship

Yeah, Auburn made a huge mistake last year starting their first year QB. That was such a disaster we'll probably never hear about that guy again.
