Really? The main reason we won the first game was because of JJ's option and feet, but the main reason we lost the second one was because of the same reason and that we didn't even attempt to throw the ball down field.

The offense literally was responsible for the field position that led to 3 points in that game.
My guess, Mettenberger could have let LSU to a TD in regulation the first Alabama game, and could have at least allowed the LSU offense to be competitive in the second.

plays were called to throw the ball down the field, the QB couldn't or wouldn't throw the ball so get your facts right please
