completion %

Most people will consider that a QB should have a better completion percentage after having a full year as a starter. You definitely can not consider it progessing when the completion percentage goes down, even if only by 1%. All i'm saying, is that the majority of players increase efficiency after their first year. Fields didn't. So he regressed slightly. Less TD's, more INT's on fewer passes, that is regressing.

The completion % shouldn't matter based on one year from the next. Look at the nfl where qbs play multiple years. Their stats vary from year to year, doesn't mean they regressed. If drew brees doesn't have as good stats next year doesn't mean he regressed, now if its a trend over the next few seasons you could say he has regressed due to his age.
