Berserk original story really does top everything imo. It's just too bad that the anime versions either leave out important parts of the story, or in the case of the new series has terrible animation. Don't let anyone tell you it's too fricked up, though it does get very brutal at points

Oh nice I looked it up and thought I had read they cancelled the movie plans after the first one. Glad I saw this because i liked it a lot.
