Anyone know about then new hotels being built and what the names of them are?
Trying to find some rooms for the game.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I think we're gonna stay in Huntsville. An hour drive, and it's on our route.

We're going to be coming from Lake Charles but most of the hotels there right now don't have a lot of rooms left.
What's the name of your hotel?

Holiday Inn Express. They still had vacancies last time I checked.

Cool. Thanks, man. Just want to get a room nailed down soon.
Appreciate it.

While in Huntsville, go have a Chicken Fried Steak at the Truck Stop on the East side of I-45. One of the best I've ever had. Not as good as Goodsons Cafe in Tomball, but pretty damn good.

Check Navasota; about 20 miles away. Rooms are cheaper.

You can also stay in Conroe. I think it's maybe 30-45 minutes outside of College Station. I have family that lives up in Lake Bentwater. It's like a 30 minute drive from their place.

I am working in College Station now and staying at the Holiday Inn Hotel. (Has small bar and restaurant) When I checked in a couple of weeks ago the front desk said that they were booked for the LSU game. Had been booked within a week of the schedule coming out.
Last year during the football season we would have to stay in Conroe. It is an easy drive over.
Should be a hell of a game.

In addition to places already mentioned, some Texas A&M-area places to consider if you can't get a Bryan/College Station hotel:
1. Navasota, TX (Super 8, Best Western, Comfort Inn, etc.) Super easy drive up TX-6, feeds you right into College Station and Texas A&M. Budget for traffic delays in College Station the closer you get to game time.
2. Brenham, TX (LaQuinta, Holiday Inn Express, etc.) Probably 15 miles further than the other options here, but more hotels. Easy drive up TX-105 and TX-6, or if you want to avoid a lot of the gameday traffic you can take the back way up TX-36 to Lyons, TX, and take a right (head NE) on FM-60 and come into town right by Kyle Field, the Northgate Bar district, etc.
3. Madisonville, TX (Hotels on I-45, like Best Western, Budget, etc.) Easy drive down TX-21 to B/CS, but you'll catch a lot of traffic cutting all the way across town if you come in close to game time.
