Eh I kinda think that if you're having a martini, a few more $ goes a long way. I'm a stoli guy myself. For mixing, no question that a cheaper vodka tastes the same but I love a dirty martini.

I would imagine there is no way you could discern between a Tito's and Grey Goose Martini
Whatever differences that may exist are so razor thin it's probably not worth the extra price. Particularly if you like your martinis dirty.
