In the big time conferences it will be much more difficult to have those big time HR hitters.
Only 5 guys in all of the SEC had 10 or more HR.
The leader in the SEC was Florida's Zunino and it took him 72 games to hit 19 HR. To compare Mahtook hit 14 HR in 56 games.
wow...I really had no idea things had changed that much...I sure miss the bertman days...

HRs are great, but doubles and tripples are needed also.

LOL, that's the problem with most LSU baseball fans, they are living in the past. That era ain't coming back !
