Seriously though, who is the best option we have to replace Hawthorne? I think he is terrible like a lot of others, but I think LSU is sticking with him because he has been here so long and has been coined the "voice."

Could it be Jordy Hultberg? WHo else you got?

Hawthorne is a terrible radio play by play announcer. Trying to follow the game on the radio is very frustrating with Hawthorne, and then when you get a chance to watch the game whilelistening to him, you begin to really understand how aweful he really is. If all it took to be an announcer was passion for the Tigers, we could all do it.

Try Charles H. (won't try to spell the last name).
He does better than Hawthorne.

I think Miles can do it from the sideline:

quote:

The line of snapping for the first scrimmage play is roundabout our territory and the line to achieve so as to earn a new set of downs, inherently our goal on any offensive round of snaps, is roughly 30 feet downfield.

The Quality Tigers break the huddle and are lined up in a formation indicative of want.

The Quarterback receives the ball having been snapped by the man on the line responsible for that task in a like fashion.

As is our mentality, the beginning of the play illustrates some good strong run look action movement.

The Quarterback gives the opponent a quality fake of the handoff ball action and drops to do that thing that teams on occasion do on offense other than running.

Three receivers downfeild are displaying their velocity skill sets as each has established a display of uncoveredness.

The Quarterback opts for the conservative, almost lateral play to the running back. Gain of 2. For a moment there, that play had the makings of a play that would display a mark of success.
