Hmmmm quite a dilemna
A: Deer hunting more important than responsibility
B: Deer hunting more important than kid
C: teach kid that responsibility and family come first and that comraderie is as much a part of hunting as killing
OR...
D: reward him for good behaviour/grades or such BS and let him go in late for school.

Tiger79 I just turned around and started on a field down the road. He goes to school about 30 miles from my house so he will have to just miss a day but there are plenty of chores he can do after hunting.
