Stating that Lee faced a defense in the all-star game that was not on par with Bama's is not idiotic.

Yeah, that went over your head. I agree people are entitled to their opinions.

It's just common sense that if you are bothered by pro J Lee threads, or pro JJ threads, you avoid them.

Over an all star game where a patchwork of players practice for 3-4 days together? Nah, it's silly. Nothing can be ascertained from such, as I attempted to explain to the dude earlier in the thread.

The "debate" which apparently bothered you was the one where I attempted to explain to the neophyte how peoples desire for Lee (or Mettenberger) to play in the BCSNCG had absolutely nothing to do with his performance in the all star game.

Somehow, this seems to bother folks. Not sure why.

LSU should hire whoever that qb coach is. That's the first time in 4 yrs I've actually seen Lee step into his passes and

even stepping back into the pocket he threw beter tna the running QB

+1 Give Lee a chance should have been in the play book for the BCS game when all else failed.

This just shows me that Bama didn't beat us, we beat ourselves, by not playing Lee. Next year Mett restores the order.

Take my word for it...they beat us in every area of the game.

Since you didn't notice, I've "moved on" by adopting the Gump Philosophy.

This did not make the news in Baton Rouge. Nothing in the Advocate...nothing on WBRZ sports.

You do know the Saints (just that one team) has 19 players who never got drafted on their current roster, right? Just because you have never seen those guys before, does not equate in them being poor athletes

The sheer numbers/probability and size of NFL rosters of course means there will be a percentage of NFL players who are undrafted that make rosters.

So yes, 19 undrafted players are on the Saints. And probably another 100 or so throughout the league. Which means of the roughly 200-300 guys a year (I'm estimating) which go undrafted, it's a very small portion that even make it into the league, much less actually turn into major contributors.

I can only think of like 3-4 guys who are legit stars that weren't drafted...
