I donnot agree a BCS bowl .NOT!!! I watch every Irish game and don't see that,I beleive we are like two OLINE,one good pass rusher
a quarterback, two receiversand a coach that is an XandOs coach. Also getting a real schedule would help.

On page 20 I said that I called wwl and was told by sportsroom that Miles got a call.I am wondering if Kiel told him then ,he wasn't coming.Reason I am saying this is Miles sure got on plane quick to see Liggins. If he didn't know all this time then he sure would't be in Miss.

Scout.com review on Liggins:
A better athlete than passer at this stage of his career, is a tough runner and an excellent overall athlete. Despite a hitch in his throwing motion, he still gets the ball away quickly and shows good field vision and nice touch on his passes.

This sounds a little too familiar. A little too like last Monday night.

Either way, the people blaming miles and the game on this are complete morons. You do not decide ur college future based on 1 fricking football game. If you do, you dont belong at a university.

I don't understand how this "looks pretty certain." there have been accuracy with at least 15 other sources including USA today. It's been a done deal

@Ray - If Kelly was such a horrible person Manti Te'O would have left? I wouldn't consider him a horrible coach. He hasn't proven anything at ND yet but he will eventually. The recruiting has gotten 10x better since his arrival. Notre Dame was a QB away from a BCS game this season.

Really?!? A QB away from a BCS game?!? Even with the BCS rules written to give ND an unfair advantage, the Irish STILL can't get into a BCS game!! They're always overrated and they always whine about how they're a QB, or coach, or game, or TD, or punt away from a BCS/NC game. Play a real schedule, and win...then tell us how you deserve to be in the game!! (Sorry...I know it's off topic, but koolaid drinking ND nitwits really get under my skin!)

yeah, thats NDs student newspaper; dont believe they'd be given the go-ahead to publish any report without being 100% sure of its accuracy.

Your lack of understanding is of no concern of mind. You show reckless disregard for that of all others to whom you address so please just go stifle thyself!

Agreed, the good field vision part is on my QB wishlist. Definitely not something JJ showed us. Just quoting the write up.

FWIW, it's an independent paper. We don't have to "wait" for university approval. Of course, if the story's wrong, it could negatively affect relations for future stories and such and I'm sure knowing the guys up top really well this story would not be published unless it was definitely right.

Gunner Kiel = Mitch Mustain.

Plus I know somebody that plays at Notre Dame. He tells me Everrett Golston(sp) will be the starter the next 4 years. Kiel will be sitting. No way he beats him out for the job. This kid can actually run and make use of Kelly's system properly.

Take it FWIW
