Very good article. Chronicles how Miles used a valid argument to justify Jefferson's inclusion in the offense but once Jefferson was starting Miles no longer needed this argument. Miles wanted Jefferson as the starting and exclusive quarterback, even if that meant we didn't have the best chance to win. He put his choice above what was best for the team. Will he have to explain this...probably not.

Here is where your THEORY goes into Sillyland:

If you HONESTLY believe what you wrote, you may not be real, real smart.

I don't think is true. He thought his choice was the best thing for the team. The problem was he was obviously wrong. I suspect that Miles makes his talent evaluations from practice and just assumes that they will be the same in games. It was reported that JJ looked like a world beater at the Manning camp, but this never materialized in games. Clearly Miles needs to learn that some players are better/worse in games. We've seen JJ get more playing time than was warranted, but we've also seen a number of players that seemed to make plenty of plays just not get the calls. This also might explain the amount of playing time that Karnell Hatcher was getting.

You are assuming you knew/know what's best for LSU better/more than a 13-1, 9-0, west champs, SEC champs, and BCSNCG LSU staff who spent a year 24/7 with the team.

I would have given Lee a series late in the 3rd, but I'm not gonna stomp my feet cause I didn't get what I wanted.

We didn't go 13-0 due to QB play.

Bama stuffed our coaching staff and our players in this game just like we stuffed most of the 13 teams we played in route to 13-1 and #2 NRing.

I don't really need/require the LSU staff to explain to me the why of who plays and who doesn't when that staff is giving me west, SEC titles and BCSNCGs, but each to our own.
