Why are there cheats for PC games............

but not for Xbox 360? Like Call Of Duty you can get God mode but never on the consoles. Why is this?

In Call Of Duty and Medal Of Honor on the PC I liked getting in God mode and just walk around and explore every corner of the game without getting killed. I also liked going invisible so as not to get shot at and tour every level. It was not fun cheating and killing thousands, agreed. That's not fun.
Anyway, if anybody knows why you can't do cheats on the consoles would appreciate the info.

Bitch. You can't do cheats on consoles because the figs that create this bullshite hangout on PCs. Occasionally some cheats make it to consoles and they get banned from Xbox forever and have their console basically turned into a brick. I for one love the fact that consoles don't allow it.

Kinda a dumb statement.
You two are talking about 2 totally different things here.
Single player cheats =/= multiplayer hacks and exploits.
For one, the developers create the single player cheats and have nothing to do with gaining any sort of advantage in multiplayer...it is just for single player.
As for the reason the developers don't allow them as much in consoles is something I really don't know, but it may have to do with not having a way to enter them in...like a console (not gaming console) where you can type shite in.
ETA:
I used to love turning on god mode and other cheats once I beat the game.

They don't, and that's exactly what the OP is asking.
Consoles used to do it too. Remember entering button combinations to unlock cheats back in the NES days? PC has nothing to do with this conversation.

PC cheats are usually regarding single player play. I'm glad we know who the fricking retards are because of this thread.

There is a difference between cheats and mods, although I guess you wouldn't know that since you're stuck with a console. Jesus, you're an idiot.

If anything he implied single by stating he wanted to explore the levels. Also those games had respawn mechanics so you could fight waves of enemies unless you move through the level. Again, you're a moron.

one of the reasons PC games have cheats is for the testers to try out specific situations without having to worry about anything else.
