That man has more lives than a cat!

A couple of days ago, it looked like the program was going into total meltdown.

Then he goes to personally visit Shep, and looks like he has made the save of his career!

Now we have "In Zach Mettenberger I trust...2012 will be an air show". This perhaps is the missing piece to an LSU dynasty!

I love Miles, but I'm pissed at him right now. Getting Shep to buy back in and stay, is a step to getting him back in my good graces. It's been a dark few days.

Maybe a hint to the answer to the opening on the offensive staff.

Just because you read the Rant message board and hear some people are upset about losing does not mean the program was going into total meltdown.

Yeah, finishing at #2 while going 13-1 and 9-0 in the SEC is a real "total meltdown" happening.

Lighten up, Francis.

This was our best SEC season since 61 and our best regular season ever.

I'm sure Coach is really concerned over some being upset with the results achieved by this
team.

Les Miles is good man and will be successful inspite of this loss. He will replace Charlie Mac as the best coach at LSU. I love Charlie Mac however he never won like Les. It is a damn shame so many do not see it ... they will after he is gone ... maybe.

Do you think Les went after Shep on his own in an attempt to start working towards next year already, or do you think he was nudged by the AD or other upset supporters?

I think it was Les looking forward but have been asked the question so i thought i would bring it up.
