Acme is just blah for me. I'd go across the street to Felix's and get the same thing without having to wait in line.

I've been flabbergasted by restaurant lines before but this weekend was something else. Both of those places had lines at least 2 hours. For oysters! I don't even know how that works - do you get in line hours before you start getting hungry? I just can't imagine waiting for something like that. The wait at Bourbon House was an hour, not good but better than a 2 to 3 hour wait next door.

For lunch Monday I went to Vacherie cafe at Hotel St. Marie and had a great sandwich with no wait and good drinks. It's all about having a good base.
