I agree. McElroy, the 3rd string, showed way more leadership and balls than the entire Jets franchise. Something needs to be done to right the ship, and it seems like Rex Ryan isn't willing to turn it around. Not saying he needs to be fired, but something needs to be done.

I am still surprised he said it publicly. Reason being is the fact that his Dad is a veteran of NFL Front Offices.

Going to your home town and spewing off about how the lockerroom is for a team youve barely been a part of this season is leadership?

I agree anybody talking to the media is being a terrible teammate but This doesnt make McElroys comments any better.

The reason youre hearing all this crap and fallout from the Jets is because Rex Ryan allows it with his "anybody can say anything they want policy" which works wonders when youre winning and everything is going great but as soon as the doors come a bit unhinged then the wall comes crashing down because you havent set any discipline down.
