Maybe true for the fans, but this could never be an excuse for a coaching staff. They had to see the issues. Miles can be stubborn and arrogant. Anyone that couldn't see this offense had returned to 2010 form after JJ's return wasn't looking. I'm just glad Miles has to give us something new to complain about next year...when we may be even better.
