J Lee should have remained our starting QB all season, with JJ coming in as a pace changing QB as needed throughout a game. Or even down around the goal line. It worked to perfection when used from the Kentucky game through the Bama game. Why did it all of a sudden change back to 08,09, and 10? I just don't understand, I think Miles let Krags and Stud handle the Offense until after the Bama game and then took it back upon hisself to call plays again, hence the "Gary crowton style" again when in all likelyhood it was miles offense all along, even when Gary was here!!!

JJ helped us win at Bama the first time, he had a role, but Miles couldn't let well enough alone.

Exactly my point he came in and changed the pace and it was the difference. I think the same philosophy would have worked in this game, and we would have had at least 1 first down in the first half of the SEC championship as well IMO

Did you ever read the quotes from Stud after the Georgia game...that he was freaking out that his calls weren't working and the players had to calm him down?

Miles isn't calling the plays during the game.

I agree with much of this. J Lee should have remained the starter after the first Bama game but give Jefferson more and more playing time each game. With J Lee rebuilding his confidence each game - I think we hit a long play that changes the game. The difference is that J Lee looked down field quite often this year - Jefferson didn't look down field at all this game - but we did have open receivers.

Still confused but very hopeful for another great year next year. We will be loaded and ready. I just hope none of this changes the want from the players - in that they don't start to question the coaching staff...that would not be a good thing.

Utah SUGAR Bowl !!!!!!!

They never would have expected it ...

Running the ball up the middle again and again as late as the 4th Quarter? WTF was that about?

JJ should have sat after the second series - 3rd series at the latest. We needed a change of tempo even if temporary.

Right, but what were the plays on the gameplan sheet for stud to actually call vs the plays called after the 1st bama game?!!!
