With what we ran, yes they did. They had our number. Would they have, had we thrown in something exotic?? Shep out of the Wildcat, some deep throws, J. Lee playing, reverses, ANYTHING!!!!

Damn guys, I know it's why everybody is pissed, but f'ing hell! We rolled up into a ball and died! No fight, no hunger, NOTHING!

Had we thrown in some wrinkles and they didn't work, we could all say "They had our number. There was no getting by their D". And with that, I believe we would all feel better about this.

But to go down like a little bitch, is absolutely deplorable! And in the Title game, of all games. Christ, I'm still fired up about it.

your comments are right on, but in the end, it's just a game. put it in perspective.

I know it's just a game. But damn, we take off Saturdays from work, we spend money, we support, etc etc etc...and in the final game with it all on the line, that's what we get. Uhhhggg!

Happy and proud of a 13-1 season. Very impressive. But man, we rolled over and died.

To some extent, this was our attempt at "exotic" offense. Taking out Jefferson's scrambling, we ran an average of about 2-3 times per quarter. Hilliard ran the ball a total of 5 times and was averaging over 3ypc, and he was our leading rusher. We've run the ball all year long, and we abandoned it in favor of whatever it was that we did.

Something stinks. There are plenty of theories posted on this board as to what went wrong. There has more to it than the vanilla gameplan and Miles' refusal to try any sort of "plan B". Maybe the seniors will air some dirty laundry and we'll know, or maybe they won't.

The Offense coaching in this game is the worst I have ever seen at LSU. Who ever called the plays in the game should be run off even if is Miles!

I agree, someone needs to be held accountable.

We made bama look a lot better than they are. That team is not 3 TDs better than LSU. Quite a few teams would have beaten us on Jan 9th. LSU shite the bed.

i mean if our offense was competent enough to put TEN points on the board through 3 and a half quarters of play, we have a chance to drive for the winning score at the end. enormous credit to what they did defensively but our offensive game plan was, well, shitty. WE BEAT OURSELVES MANE

Bama looked a lot bigger and stronger this time around for some reason.

You had 98 yards of offense. You defense was on the field for almost 2/3 of the game and allowed just under 400 yards. You did not cross the 50 till halfway through the 4th quarter. Just admit that we were outplayed, outcoached and outprepared and get on with life.
