why do you feel Miles held Lee off the field?

I will take him at his word...that with the pass rush he wanted someone on the field who could use his feet. Now there's your answer...what the hell does that do for you? No one is questioning WHAT Miles thought but rather WHY he thought that JL could not help him when shite was crumbling around him. Now let's just suppose that he gets a mullligan...do you think that he does the same thing again?

So would you consider this to be merely a coaching decision...one in which he could be completely wrong about...or some character issue that would indicate something deeper with his relationship with Lee? I ask this because it was, after all, the point seemingly of the OP's thread.

It answers my question for starters.

And that's fine. If people want to question a coaching move, then there are plenty of threads which do just that. Rocketscientist started this thread under the guise of calling this a character issue, and with that I took offense. There is no evidence for anything like that...just a coaching decision which can be wrong or right.

Honestly...I'd still say he'd play JJ but likely alter the offense. This goes back to my original point which is that Miles has since 2008 considered JJ the better option under center. No reason to think that would change...
