I am so looking forward to next years team. But let me ask you guys something. Lets say Mett comes in right away lights it up. I mean throws for 280-350 a game, is in control, shows leadership and kind of reminds you of a Big Ben while at Miami of Ohio.

Then I ask you this. If the coaches knew of this, why please why could we have not seen it this year?

So you are already finding a way to bash the coaching staff even if we are successful next year? Won't be happy that we have a good QB, just going to be upset that he wasn't the QB for this year. Where do you retards come from? Please, go back under the rock you have been hiding under.

So you're assuming that what he does 9 mos. from now he could have done this season?

JJ was his pet. I don't give a shite if it was Mett or Lee, someone else should have had a chance. You can't really argue otherwise. Sticking with JJ was surrendering.

No I get your point. The only way to have known was to play him. Now say we did and he isn't the QB we think he will be, then what. We went undefeated until the last game. Why would the coaching staff change anything? If Mett comes in and plays lights out, lets just be happy with that and look forward. Don't live in the past, it's over!

Let's say hypotheticly that Mett wins the first 8 games in the season and throws two picks. Miles then puts in Rivers who is his personal favorite for the last five games and Mett rides the pine.

No! That could never happen!

And your assumption is that he couldn't have done it this year. That is nothing more than an opinion without any factual data.

You are making my point exactly. The point is we will never know. There is s tendency for fans to assume the best for the QB on the bench rather than mediocre or even bad play.

Luckily for us, we didn't have to assume anything about the QB on the field. That turned out well.
