In my opinion it was a fumble. Drew's arm wasn't coming forward. However, the referees blew the whistle after the ball landed just as they would for an incomplete pass. You can hear the whistle and see that our players are making no attempt for the ball because of the whistles. It was the referees fault for blowing the play dead before allowing someone to recover it. They should have ruled it a fumble and went from there with challenges, etc. But for this situation where the play was obviously blown dead it should have been Saints ball. They pretty much gave the Lions the ball for what they ruled as an incomplete pass by blowing the play dead.
