I'm gonna keep asking God to bless LSU with a Great Victory and another miraculous parting of the Red Sea (Crimson Tide)...I Believe!!!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

You think God really cares about the outcome of a football game?

Seems like some serious micro-management on his part

The day I pray to God for a football game is the day I re-evaluate my life. I hope he's got more big picture issues to deal with.

I'm all for praying that the players don't get hurt and fans stay safe, but IMO, it kind of seems frivolous to pray for an outcome of any game.

Let us pray for coaching "wisdom" and for our Tigers to "play with a purpose" against a formidable opponent in the great City of New Orleans, Louisiana, and that purpose is to maintain an ongoing sense of pride in the university, which has seen some tribulations (yes, Lord, bless Coach Hallman and Ryan Perrilloux).

Let our team continue on their path to Greatness, as they strive to achieve their highest goal of this season: to be the best college team in our great Nation. And to understand, with that distinction, comes the responsibility to handle being the best with humility, yet a hunger to continue and to inspire the young men who mature into the future leaders of this great team and this blessed university which is Louisiana State University.

Amen.

(if you read this post and press "like" the Lord will likely acknowledge your solemn prayer with a response tomorrow evening )

If I was in New Orleans I would definitely go to the St. Louis Cathedral and light a candle and pray that the Tigers and tiger coaches just do their very best. The donation for lighting a big candle is $5.00. Hopefully someone will think to do this. Also, pray for the guy who said there is no God.

I will not pray to god for this kind of thing...but Keldar promised that he would help and Ima certainly check in with him, coolidge and shooter before the game...
