The only positives I can take out of the Landon Collins decision

Well losing "or the possibility of losing" Landon Collins sure does suck and obviously enough posters have voiced their thoughts and displeasures regarding what has happened. Since I am a person that likes to make lemonade out of lemons, the lemonade I am drinking right now is simple.
Over the next 4 weeks prior to NSD and considering the well publicized, documented and watched announcement of Landon Collins and the comments of his mother and thoughts from his father, how badly to you think the Gumps and crew will be crapping in their pants whether or not Collins may switch his commitment to where his mother and family want him to go.
I mean you could tell their was no acting going on with his mother and I can assure you that Saban saw what was going on and I can assure you they are sh*tting the "preverbal" brick right now worry about how his mother will try and influence her son to switch!!! You can bet every Gump out there is worried also!!!
So Bama, the Gumps and everyone in Gumpville - Congrats you "MIGHT" have landed a prize recruit and if you can hold him you should be commended for your efforts in getting him to leave his families beloved Tigers. But EVERYONE saw, you can bet his mother will continue to work on her son for the next 4 weeks and mothers and families have a way of working magic sometimes just look at "J. Rasco" last year for us - thank you Momma Rasco!!! So if it holds congrats you deserve it, but it ain't over yet and you better be sweating for the next 4 weeks because you can bet Momma will continue to try and push her son over to the Good Guys - the guys that Love Purple & Live Gold !!!!

SohCahToa - I am over it, at this point I could care less about Collins coming to LSU he made his bed now he is Tigerbait, said and done.
But knowing that the Gumps in your neck of the woods are going to be crapping in their pants wondering whether Collins flips or not over the next 4 weeks considering how much his mother voiced her displeasure, well that just makes me
. You can bet the coaches and all involved over at Bama are worried after seeing that on TV. Me personally like I said he is gone, read my posts I have said all along to get over it. But giving some people some thoughts on how to take a bad situation and make it better by laughing about how bad Bama will worry over the next 4 weeks, well I would not be a very good Tiger fan if I did not try and help people make a bad situation a little bit better!!!

Saban does not care. He is lining up the #1 recruiting class again. It is getting old too.

May he go the way of Joe McKnight, John Fourcade, Warwick Dunn, etc......
I remember being crushed by the McKnight decision. Ask him if won an NC while he was at USC, and more importantly, did LSU?
If there is one thing, by this time, that we should all recognize, it is the recruiting ability/talent assessment ability of CLM.
We offered, he declined, and it hurts. Sure, I get that.
By the same token, we will be fine. Somewhere on this year's list, there's another (3) star that no one wanted but us.
Losing Collins only hurts one thing. Pride. Our pride. While it's important, his decision will not affect the viability of our program.
