Because that's who he picked at beginning of the year however with no conviction he says. Also said lsu vs USC for bcscg next year because lsu will be even better next year

Listening to Coward, it reaffirms the direction our program is taking by focusing on QB for recruiting and not losing sleep over more depth at positions we're already stacked at like Safety
I think Coward has it right saying LSU has subpar QB play; but at the same time, this is why LSU has it's best shot to surprise Bama and win. With weeks to prepare, Kragethorpe will hopefully have a fully ready JJ to play and JL to mix into the game, to give LSU enough of a QB skill to win. It's LSU's bad QB play that dragged the tigers in the first game. Our run and Defense were stout; our QB threw INT's and ran option.
In this game we'll pass and pass well and we'll win. Cowherd and the other guest both were pinning blame on Bama's QB for playing bad, and at the same time dumping on LSU's QB> I guess they think McCarron has more upside than JJ.
JJ Can be brilliant. If he wants to make money after graduating, this is his last best chance to get that door opened. My hope is he brings his a-game and proves the ESPN'ers wrong
