Of all the places to put your faith in..he clearly hasn't been reading the news clippings about UT pulling scholarships from multiple commitments they've had for 6+ months.

Bottom line is the staff let, encouraged, him to go elsewhere..it is what it is. He's a good talent, but it's not a loss for LSU. It is a gain for DB though, he'll get a better chance to show his wares.

He lives in Patterson now but he's originally from south plaquemines. So is Landon Collins, but of course he goes to dutchtown now. Point was that it doesn't matter if you're from a small town or not.

I'm not the big recruiting follower but everything about this kid seems to spell trouble and it seems like it starts with the dad. I think this is a good loss for LSU. I was actually hoping this would happen after the few things that have been posted on here. Don't think this is a kid who buys into the "team" concept too much.

I hope we use that spot for a big DT or DE that will grow into a DT.

I'd rather Bourque over Hill but it is what it is I guess.

Are you certain it isn't what it isn't?

Did I read that the dad called and left a voicemail for Brick to let him know that DB was decommitting? If so, I am glad he is looking else where. A voice mail by the dad? Really? I would have made my son call the coach and speak to him as a man. Burn those briges dad...

Allegedly, hisdad has been a problem. Same as Bourque not living up to his side of agreements as well

Isn't DB a speed back and Broussard power?

I predict this young man and his family will not be real happy with anywhere. Just get that vibe. Best wishes, hope he has a great career. Watching LA kids develop is always fun.

DB is an upright runner, and tehy don't tend to do well in our blocking schemes. he needs to go to a place where they run more zone blocking with the OL and he can slide along teh line and/or make 1 cut

this is probably best for him. win-win situation

If he is dead set on playing running back, it absolutely is win-win.

I wish UF would reach out to Bourque or he would reach out to UF. We are looking for a 2nd RB, since Mike Drama decommitted.
