The TV ratings will be the lowest for any BCS title game ever. SEC haters won't watch to see if the nat'l title streak ends. Fans of other SEC teams won't tune in to see if the streak continues. LSU & Bama don't own any top 40 media markets. The viewership will be weak.

We shall see about the ratings. First game back in Nov. had quite a few viewers. I wouldn't say the lowest ever for BCS game but I understand the negative rationale. The truth is no one else besides LSU went undefeated in D1. Alabama will be a worthy opponent and probably the only team with any kind of chance to win. I like the matchup. Would rather see this matchup than blowout vs. OSU, Stanford, Boise State, etc. If LSU is going to be remembered as one of the best teams EVER in college football they will have to earn it on the field! Geaux Tigers!

This is all wrong. The ratings for this game will be extremely high just like they were on 11/5. Only Ok. St. Fans will sit this one out.

Very true buddy. But besides what you said, many people are boycotting purposefully to get back at ESPN for pushing so hard to pressure voters to plunk Bama in. And also because of general BCS system hate. Plus do to a rematch the country already saw. And lastly do to a low scoring kicking contest of a game that all regions of the country, non SEC, detest. Those 4 reasons in that order, IMO. I do feel bad for LSU though cause they earned this and their game should not get the snub because of a corrupt ESPN, a unworthy Bama ect.
